The Kardashian family are fast becoming one of the most talked about families on the planet. Kimberley Kardashian and her sisters have developed the Kardashian clothing line and the family has a number of television shows and other projects in the pipeline. So what’s next?
To know what comes next for this amazing family, we should start at the beginning. Rather strangely, Kim is responsible for the Kardashian family rising to fame; in February of 2007, she starred in a sex tape with her then-beau Ray J, known on the internet as the Kardashian tape. By October of 2007, her and her family had a prime-time television show on the E! Network, called ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians‘.
Since then, there has been two spin-off shows from the first series – the first of which starred Kim’s sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, called ‘Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami’, the second of which starred Kim and Kourtney, called ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’. ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’ followed the sisters as they opened another of their clothing boutiques in New York City and was very popular.
Kim has also starred in a number of spin-off television shows, has guest-starred both as herself and as a character in a number of television shows and movies, has released numerous fragrances and has also fronted a number of advertising campaigns. There’s no doubt that Kim Kardashian is one of the most talked-about ladies in the showbiz world, but recently, her family has come under the spotlight a lot more.
Kourtney Kardashian has been seen in the news far more recently, possibly because she has recently had a baby. People are also more interested in the sisters than ever before, with lots of blogs and websites dedicated to replicating the sister’s styles. Khloe is also fronting more advertising campaigns and the sisters have been seen out in force together far more often – in fact, they appeared on an episode of America’s Next Top Model whereby the models all had to model clothes from the Kardashian clothing line. The sisters were incredibly happy to see their range of clothes being modelled so well and they all wore their own clothes to the fashion show.
More attention has also been placed on the Kardashian’s extended family – for example, Kendall Jenner, the Kardashian’s half-sister, has been seen in the media more and more recently. She’s a model and has Tweeted numerous pictures of herself whilst modelling. Their half-brother Brody Jenner, who used to star in reality shows Laguna Beach and The Hills himself is currently dating popstar Avril Lavigne and has also been seen in the public eye far more recently.
So what’s next for the family? More television shows, certainly – more fragrances from Kim as well as more advertising campaigns, and much more from Kourtney and Khloe. The sisters recently released a book and are not ruling out releasing another, and we can expect to see more of their clothing boutiques and clothing lines hitting the streets very soon. The Kardashians are taking over!
