Isla Fisher is a Scottish-Australian actress who was born in Muscat, Oman in the Middle East though she was raised in Perth Australia. According to Fisher she had a very outdoorsy upbringing and adopted a very Australian, laid back attitude. She was named after the Scottish whisky producing island, Islay and she is the only girl in a family of 5 children. Her parents are Scottish and her father was an international banker, which involved world travel and was the reason why she was born in the Middle East. Her parents are now divorced, her father lives in Germany and her mother and brothers variously in Greece and Nicaragua. Continue reading →
